GP Communications developed a strategic media relations and media familiarisation program punctuated with special events for both the hotel and rooftop bar.
Our results featured in-depth, positive editorial news coverage and hotel reviews in key NZ media outlets including The NZ Herald Travel, Stuff Travel, Newshub, Business Desk, NBR (an exclusive interview with the founders of Pro-invest), Let's Travel, Urban List, Good, Concrete Playground, Mindfood, NewstalkZB and many more. GP also led the official opening event for the hotels, including managing Ministerial invitations & briefings, event logistics, MC and executive speeches, photo/video management, guest list management and post-event publicity.
For Bar Albert - NZ's highest rooftop hotel bar on level 38 of voco we generated positive hype-driven media and social media coverage across key NZ media outlets including Concrete Playground, Denizen, Herald on Sunday, Newshub, NZ Herald, SPY, Stuff, Sunday Star Times, Urban List, VIVA, WORLD, and more. GP led the media launch event including event logistics, photo/video content, media content and guest list management. Bar Albert's opening night saw over 50 people queuing to get into the bar an hour before opening, and over 400 people on a waitlist over the weekend.
