Overview
GP Communications developed a strategic media relations program focused on trade, business and consumer media across NZ and Australia. Announcing the general manager and a countdown to opening followed by a series of exclusive radio and print interviews generated mainstream press coverage across national and local media outlets. With the opening of the hotel coinciding with Aucklanders coming out of a four month lockdown just prior to Christmas the was an opportunity to leverage the message around this of an affordable hotel stay in Queenstown. A targeted media famil program also generated in-depth positive review coverage for the hotel and restaurant in travel and lifestyle media.
